1. JONEZIE

JONEZIE is the world’s first secure platform that allows you to rent anything from anyone in your area. Co-founders Matthew Clough and Zack Leonard believe life is about the experiences we share with people we love, and that business can help us get there. JONEZIE is looking to make life a bit easier for everyone by putting any garage item at your fingertips.

2. SPLT

Having recently won the top prize of $500,000 at the Accelerate Michigan Competition, SPLT is a transportation agnostic social ridesharing app, which provides transportation for those in underserved neighborhoods. Cofounder Anya Babbitt worked out of Detroit’s Techstars Mobility office at Ford Field in 2015 and has been making steady progress over the last two years.

3. J IV Media

Hailing from Metro-Detroit, MI, J IV Media offers original custom music, sound design, and mixing for commercial use–TV, advertisements, and film. Composer Alton James recently completed construction of a state-of-the-art recoding studio in his home basement in Detroit. Alton has composed music for video advertisements with many local small business, including automotive, retail and fashion clients. Look for J IV Media to make some noise in 2017.
